Swamped with work

No, I haven't been dead. Or working on oil paintings. I have been really really busy with commissions. I got about $10,000 worth of work this summer for several commissions, that I should be getting done in the next few months. Crazy, yes? :D

Not much else other than that. I got some more of Putrus painted over the past few days. He is nearly done. Now I just need to sculpt a human that he is killing or something, and then put him on a nice display base.

Almost at 2k page views, just noticed that! Sweet.

Yep. Probably going to pay off the car, and then buy another guitar. *evil grin*

I've been getting the itch to do another oil painting or two. I just don't have the time! Working 16 hour days. Maybe I'll get to it this weekend.

I've just been back from my military training and now reading your journal :).
$10,000! What a dream number for me !!!
I see that doing commissions really take a great deal of time. So how can you arrange to do it while you're still a student who has to attend class and does homeworks almost everyday ?

Right now it's summer break for me, so that's why I am able to take on larger commissions. During classes I will spend a couple hours per day on them, and then work on the weekends. I have to work less, but I still manage to get stuff done :)

How was the military training? Is it over, or just one of the breaks you will get on the weekend?

Well, the training is not over yet. I'm in the first weekend break now. Still have 2 more weeks to go :(.

Wow thats a ton of money dude, GET ON THAT! haha but cool that your doing so much work. I cant wait untill your work load slows down a tiny bit so we can see more fun stuff from you!

Yes, I would like to slow down the work a bit too. Hopefully that will be soon! :D

You must not know me well enough, because I have a very bad habit of starting lots of projects that I never end up finishing. That's just the way it goes with me :) Maybe someday... maybe...
